Grab Business Opportunities and Drive the New Wave of Manufacturing at Industry 4.0

The 2018 Taipei Intelligent Machine & Manufacturing Technology Show (iMTduo) is taking place May 9-12, 2018 at Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1. Co-organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI), the four-day show is expected to create a plethora of business opportunities. The exhibition areas have been updated to reflect recent trends in the global intelligent manufacturing, and will gather renowned machinery manufacturers’ technology, including intelligent machines, 3D printing and additive manufacturing, industrial robotics, and more.

The theme of iMTduo is “Driving the New Wave of Manufacturing” and will focus on manufacturing demands such as fast production, rich diversity, small batch and tailor-made products. The key to intelligent manufacturing is the adoption of sensor-based products as well as the Cloud, and connecting these technologies to assist production and integrate them into IoT and big data analysis. iMTduo will showcase advanced applications in software and equipment, with the aspiration that such products can boost Taiwan’s industry and enhance its international standing in the field of Industry 4.0. Moreover, it aspires to create a great platform from which to purchase solutions for Industry 4.0, in the Asia Pacific region.

Beyond new display areas, iMTduo will be holding the first summit targeting three Industry 4.0 topics: additive manufacturing, smart factory and industrial robots. Experts and keynote speakers from home and abroad will share their insights in assessing global trends in these fields. Furthermore, via its 60 overseas regional branches, TAITRA has invited significant buyers to the show for one-on-one procurement meetings, technical seminars, and product release events. These activities will serve to inspire information exchange between the exhibitors and the buyers, contributing to greater cooperation and understanding.

The 2018 Taipei Intelligent Machine & Manufacturing Technology Show (iMTduo) is being held May 9-12, 9am-5pm.
