Nan Pao cuts into the carbon fiber aerospace field to uplift operation

Translated from【中時電子報/郭鴻慧】2019.03.25

Nan Pao (4766), the world's top three footwear adhesive manufacturers, won the AS9100:D aerospace quality management system certification. This certification will extend the application of the product to the aerospace field.

Nan Pao said that with the experience of long-term cultivation of adhesive technology, it has successfully developed a thermosetting carbon fiber composite sheet that can be thermoformed, which not only meets the demand of the manufacturer for rapid and mass production, but also maintains the thermosetting composite material. The mechanical properties and halogen-free flame retardant, even surpassing the same-grade products of the same market, compared with the traditional thermosetting composite materials, the advantages of rapid production, greatly reducing the processing steps and reducing the production cost, so that the products are widely used in 3C. Industry, general industry, automobile, rail car and aerospace industry.

Nan Pao pointed out that the newly developed new generation of thermoplastic thermosetting carbon fiber composite sheet, based on the maintenance of the mechanical properties of the thermoset composite material, achieves the goal of quantifiable and rapid mass production, effectively solving the problem of using thermosetting carbon fiber composite materials. The mass production problem of the manufacturer and the "carbon fiber composite material" have excellent weight-to-weight ratio characteristics, which are very attractive for products that are lighter and need to be upgraded, which helps to develop a source of lightweight demand.

Nan Pao's 2018 annual consolidated revenue was 16.03 billion New Taiwan dollars, up 9.69% from 2017. The adhesive industry grew steadily, the company's product competitive advantage, and excellent research and development technology, cut into plasticity high-performance carbon fiber composite materials, expected product application Expanded into the aerospace field, with a view to becoming the next new engine for operational growth.
