TIMTOS 2019 Showcases Smart and Digitalized Solutions for the Future Manufacturing
Taipei International Machine Tool Show, known as TIMTOS, will be unveiled on March 4-9, 2019 at TWTC Hall 1 and Hall 3, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 (or TaiNEX 1 for short) and Hall 2 (TaiNex 2). AS TaiNEX 2 officially opens in March, 2019 for TIMTOS to accommodate more exhibitors, TIMTOS this year will house a total of 1,230 exhibitors in 7,000 booths, creating a new record in Taiwan exhibition’s history and becoming the world’s third largest machine tool trade show.
TIMTOS has always been an important platform for companies to showcase their latest machines and innovative technologies. In response to the impact that digital revolution has on the field of manufacturing, the theme of TIMTOS highlights on “Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing”. Visitors will not only be able to find products from every facet of the machine tool supply chain, but also smart and digitalized solutions. Moreover, it is the first time that the organizers use Augmented Reality (AR) technology for visitors to see the structure of metal forming machines from different angles at AR Experience Zone.
TIMTOS gathers exhibitors from 26 countries, including Taiwanese companies such as FFG, Tongtai, Hartford, CHMER, YCM, Victor Taichung, Chin Fong, SEYI, PMI, HIWIN, and world-renowned brands such as MAZAK, DMG MORI, FANUC, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, Siemens, Universal Robots and Haas Automation.
To help industry players master the global trends, the organizers will hold the second TIMTOS Summit on March 5- 6. Industry experts and top executives from firms such as ABB, Airbus, Bosch, Dassault, DMG MORI, Heidenhain, Optomec, SAP, and Siemens will give their insight on future trends in four topics— “Machine Intelligence and AIoT”, “Additive Manufacturing”, “Automotive Manufacturing Revolution” and “Innovation in Aerospace Manufacturing”.
