Renishaw (Taiwan) Inc.: RenAM 500Q multi-laser AM system
The RenAM 500Q is Renishaw’s latest multi-laser additive manufacturing system
offering, specializing in metal 3D printing and suitable for reactive materials such as aluminium and titanium alloys. With four high power 500 W lasers, each able to access the whole powder bed surface simultaneously, the RenAM 500Q achieves build rates up to 4 × faster than single laser systems and its build envelope is 250 mm × 250 mm × 350 mm.
Its compact galvanometer assembly has been designed and additively manufactured in-house, using AlSi10Mg material for high thermal conductivity, and includes conformal cooling fluid channels resulting in excellent thermal stability of the optical system.
Equator™ 500 gauging system
The new larger Equator 500 system now enables the gauging of larger parts, with a working volume of 500 mm in diameter and up to 400 mm in height.
Equator 500 gauging system is accurate between a range of 5 ºC and 50 ºC at any rate of temperature change, and is capable of scanning speeds in excess of 200
mm/s.
Every system is compatible with simple-to-use Organiser operator software, EZ-IO software for automation, and IPC (intelligent process control) software for updating tool offsets on CNC machine tools.
REVO 5-axis measurement system
The REVO system uses synchronised motion and 5-axis measurement technology to minimise the dynamic effects of CMM motion at ultra-high measurement speeds.
This is achieved by letting the REVO-2 head do the fast demanding motion while the CMM moves in a linear slow fashion. The use of a flexible tip-sensing probe further adds to the system's accuracy and performance. The removable probe system, used in conjunction with a low cost changer, provides added system flexibility.
