Myanmar is being described
as “Asia’s Last Frontier Economy”. Its GDP growth reached an average of
6.5% in the past three years. Since the liberalization of the Myanmar
economy, the government has been able to improve the country's political
and economic status, and with such, people are increasingly moving from
rural areas to cities seeking job opportunities and a better way of
living, therefore creating new growth and investment opportunities for
companies.

In
respect to young generation, more and more young people are involved in
online gaming and e-sport which boosts Myanmar's gaming market, but
frequent power cuts are holding players back in this emerging market. To
support the growing urbanization and to sustain the economic momentum,
the Myanmar government is expected to increase investment in various
sectors, including infrastructure and Information and Communications
Technology (ICT) Industries. The country’s bright economic outlook
desperately needs a corresponding smart system/solution to support
further expansion.
