ACEWELL International Co., LTD. was setup in 2005 as a professional and reliable speedometer designer and manufacturer in Taiwan, and is IATF-16949 quality assurance system certified. In the beginning, the company's instruments were used by ATV manufacturers. The ACEWELL quality brand is recognized in Europe, America and Japan markets.
Since 2010, ACEWELL uses the molds for ATV speedometer to make displays for e-scooter/e-vehicle application in order to capture the trends in e-scooter/e-vehicle. “We also had a chance of becoming an original design manufacturer (ODM) of displays for electric pedal assist bike customers during this period,” says George M.S Lee.
“We offer more than ten sets of ID designs for customers’ to choose from. These models are equipped with molds, electronic hardware and firmware. Each model has an important function for e-scooter/e-vehicles, such as speedometer, battery message display, 3-10 LED indicators and other related purposes. Each product is IP67 waterproof and 100% waterproof tested, while mechanical vibration is 8G verified. The product itself has passed the CE and E-Mark certifications. “We also accept different designs, such as CANBUS, UART, RS232, and RS485, etc.,” he added.
ACEWELL is devoted to providing customers with high qualify product series, efficient service, and flexible design including electronic hardware, firmware and mechanism. “From our own perspective, speedometer is not only an “instrument”, but a “detailed” display that records the status and condition of an e-scooter/e-vehicle. And this significant description should be treated with the highest standard and quality; for through this we have earned the trust and praise from the overseas markets,” remarks George M.S Lee.
2021 AMPA Highlights
In AMPA 2021, ACEWELL will highlight existing models and introduce two new instruments: CV080 Digital VA LCD DISPLAY SPEEDOMETER & HG20/HG21/HG21T Heated Grips.
● CV080 Digital VA LCD DISPLAY SPEEDOMETER:
Apart from the speedometer on market, the CV080 is installed with VA LCD to display the odometer, state of charge, other functions including 7 LED indicators & 6 LCD displays and mostly importantly consistent design of waterproof, anti-vibration and noise immunity.
● HG20/HG21/HG21T Heated Grips:
As for HG20/HG21/HG21T heated grips, ACEWELL applies silicone material for the outer layer to avoid the greasiness caused by long-term operation, making the grips soft and durable. Its 5 levels of grip heat temperature (5 color illumination of control button) with fast-heat at power-on status are adjustable according to users’ demands. Apart from the heated grips on market, the “Low voltage detection” (battery saver function) enables the grips to automatically rebound the voltage to the set value (value setting: 11.8/12.0/12.2/12.4/12.6/12.8) to keep heat operation. Push button temperature controller and power level display built into left grip allows easy installation and no need for additional switches.
ACEWELL aims to market HG20/HG21/HG21 heated grips in North America (Canada), and those undeveloped & potential markets in European countries, as well as U.K. Target customers are those from the ATV/ PWC/ SNOMOBILE/ MOTORCYCLE industries. In Japan, the company has existing local distributors. Target customers in the country are mainly motorcycle users.
Shrouded by the Covid-19, industries all over the world are trying to endure the effects of the pandemic. Nevertheless, ACEWELL is still anticipating a reunion with elites in the vehicle industry; such annual event is set to inspire more innovation and potential customers.
