The Taipei International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS 2021), with approximately 6,000 booths as of today, will be held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 and Hall 2 and the World Trade Center Hall 1, March 15 to 20, 2021, while the "TIMTOS 2021 Hybrid" will concurrently debut in a pioneer format as the virtual + physical trade show.
The application for the "TIMTOS 2021 Hybrid" has started since December 7, 2020. To make attendees fully aware of two features of the Hybrid, "human interaction" and "customized experience," the organizer Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) has conducted a number of public briefings in Taiwan and initiated a fabulous step-by-step instruction in English online. (video link) Therefore, as a prominent trade platform, TIMTOS 2021 Hybrid will definitely allow global buyers to watch and place orders. Nearly 1,000 industry players will get together online and achieve a “zero time and distance” interaction between exhibitors and buyers.
The TIMTOS Salon and TIMTOS Glimpse series, launched since August 2020, have already invited five key persons of machine tool associations from the United States, Turkey, Russia, India and Thailand, as well as eight Taiwan manufacturers, HIWIN, Lien Chieh, Buffalo Machinery, Accutex, Chin Fong, She Hong, Keyarrow (Taiwan), and Ying Han to share their first-hand market insights, respectively. The webinar campaign has so far attracted more than 400,000 views. Other online events will be subsequently launched.
In addition, TAITRA plans to hold an online live streaming on January 20, 2021 with high-profile industry leaders of well-known manufacturers discussing the "new deployment of the smart machinery industry in the post-epidemic era," as a warm-up for the TIMTOS Hybrid in March 2021.
TIMTOS 2021 Hybrid will be launched simultaneously online and offline from March 15th to 20th next year, providing exhibitors and buyers with an all-round experience and presenting abundant business opportunities for the machine tool industry.
