SOCO Machinery Co., Ltd. is the No. 1 in Asia and No. 3 in the world for tube bender(彎管機) and circular sawing machine(金屬圓鋸機), and is the unseen champion of Taiwan's machinery industry in the world competition. In addition to the traditional machinery, SOCO started to get into the optoelectronic industry as early as 2007 and was the first company in the world to enter the field of fiber laser tube cutting machine(光纖雷射切管機).
The first maglev laser cutting machine in Taiwan, produced in cooperation with European technology
Recently, SOCO has cooperated with European technology to develop the first maglev laser cutting machine(磁浮雷射切鈑機) in Taiwan, the SLS-3015, which adopts the principle of magnetic levitation train and directly driven by linear motor at 2.5g high acceleration, no transmission mechanism, low wear and zero backlash, and almost no friction and noise. Its speed is up to 280m/minute, which is faster than traditional sheet metal laser cutting machine.
In addition, because of the fully closed loop linear motor, the accuracy is always kept in the best condition, and the repeat accuracy is less than 0.01mm. This maglev laser cutting machine with European technology cooperation will be exhibited at the TIMTOS 2021.
In this exhibition, SOCO will also exhibit laser tube cutting machine (SLT-102-FIBER全自動化雷射切管機), CNC Tube Bender (SB-32x7A-2S-V-U, 自動化連線CNC彎管機) and the world's fastest tube cutting automation cell ( SA-85NCE-MULTI, 自動化切管機), and other high-end automatic intelligent automation machinery, which will not be affected by the epidemic to stop the progress.
SOCO invests in R&D for laser and optoelectronic applications despite the epidemic
SOCO Chairman Frank Lin said that the company has invested NT$1 billion to build a new factory in Taiwan’s Nangang Industrial Zone in order to deeply cultivate the global laser cutting market, adding a new force to the optoelectronic product line. SOCO estimates that the company’s revenue can grow by more than 20% within three years after the completion of the new plant. The laser application R&D center, which covers an area of 3,000 square meters, is expected to drive the upstream and downstream industries of Taiwan to move forward.
