Energy Taiwan 2022
Product Highlights – Wind Energy
Taiwan’s excellent wind farms top world rankings. The Taiwanese government has put tremendous efforts into promoting offshore wind power, which has attracted many international offshore wind-power developers to join related projects. Further efforts have included improved infrastructures such as harbors for turbine assembly and management and grid construction with underwater foundation work. Taiwan’s government also plans to increase the percentage of local items in the supply chain to achieve the goal of generating wind power of 5.7 GW by 2025. This could bring in an investment of $1000 billion USD and over 20,000 jobs.

ENERGY TAIWAN
will take place October 19–21 at TaiNEX Hall 1 in Taipei. Exhibits include Wind Energy Taiwan, PV, Smart Taiwan, Smart Storage Taiwan, Emerging Power Taiwan, and Net-Zero Taiwan. Visitor registration is now open. Sign up now for more updates.

PPG PMC WIND POWER COATING
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvobK5aCF4c

With unrivaled experience in wind industry, PPG is able to choose the most efficient coating solutions to provide the highest performance for today's wind turbines. Coatings are vital to maintain the functionality and operational reliability of onshore and offshore wind turbine installations, including blades, components, equipment, towers and foundations. Protective coatings also have to meet the highest standards to withstand a wide variety of weather conditions, such as exposure to ultraviolet radiation and chemical pollution. All PPG coating systems for the wind industry are independently tested and certified to ensure their lifetime expectancy for corrosion resistance and durability, and that they fully comply with wind industry requirements and standards.
IOVTEC Co., Ltd.

Marine Survey, Vessel Charter, Vessel Berthing, Vessel Maintenance and Building
https://www.iog-tw.com/

International Ocean Group (IOG) is one of the earliest local teams in Taiwan to enter the offshore wind farm industry. By integrating various types of marine engineering services along with our own fleet, we’ve successfully built the first group to provide total solution services to the Taiwan offshore windfarm industry. The repertoire of marine surveys provided by IOG includes geophysical survey, bathymetric survey, hydrographic survey, cable depth of burial survey, UXO and underwater cultural heritage survey. Additionally, IOG provides various types of construction support and vessel services, such as marine mammal observation and platform support vessel. IOG has planned a shipyard in Jiang Jun Fish Harbor, in Tainan, as the base port for the fleet. To fulfill the berthing and maintenance demands of CTVs and super yachts on the west coast of Taiwan, up to 12 berths are also planned in the port. We also expect that starting from 2024, the refitting center will have its production capability, and thus build CTVs and working vessels less-than-40m. We keep accumulating credentials in the industry alongside our partners.
CWind Taiwan Co., Ltd

Wind Farm O&M, CTV Charter, Power Cable, Talents Cultivation
