The Dragon Class system

The Dragon Class system (or kite) can produce electricity at a lower cost than all other types of tidal/ocean power plants. A kite consists of a turbine mounted on a wing, which is anchored to the seabed foundation by a tether. By means of control system, the kite is steered in a figure of 8 trajectory. The unique benefit of this patented approach is that the kite flying fast across the water current increases the flow speed into the turbine by up to a factor of 6-7 compared to the actual current speed. Since the inflow speed has a cubic relationship with the power generation, the electricity produced by the power plant's generator is 200–500 times greater compared to if the kite were flown stationary in the water current.

Roxtec H3 UG™ seal

Transit for cables entering via foundations. The Roxtec H3 UG™ seal is ideal for cables entering via foundations and works as a long-lasting barrier against flooding, gas, humidity and rodents. It is a three-part seal that is easy to install also in wet conditions and in environments with running water. The transit withstands extreme cable bending and has a +3mm tolerance towards the aperture as well as an indicator showing when a compressed seal is achieved. The seal can be installed into sleeves, conduits and core drilled holes.
