The Innovative Center on Sustainable Negative-Carbon Resources (iSNR) at National Chung Hsing University champions clean energy and zero-carbon products as core principles. The Center has uniquely developed a "Resilient Ecosystem" for its campus net-zero goal, driving innovative research in New Energy Technologies and Carbon-reduce, reuse, and recycle (C-3Rs). iSNR is also actively advancing the "Carbon Rights Green Lifestyle Movement," establishing scientific methodologies for carbon footprint tracking. By partnering with Taiwan Power Company, international corporations, and third-party certification bodies, iSNR is committed to achieving the global net-zero target by 2050. Looking ahead, the Center aspires to become the global benchmark research center for voluntary carbon credits.

Additionally, with “The National Sun Yat-sen University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fund,” the office assists start-up teams and enterprises in solving the difficulties of resources at the initial stage of starting up businesses, which brings breakthrough effects for promoting innovative startups.
