Shalun Smart Green Energy Science City Pavilion Makes Its Debut
Pioneering a New Green Energy Ecosystem

Shalun Smart Green Energy Science City' is a large-scale public construction located in Guiren District, Tainan City, covering an area of 62.12 hectares. It is one of the green energy construction projects designed for forward-looking infrastructure construction. In September 2021, the Shalun Smart Green Energy Science City Office was established to integrate and promote cross-regional smart green energy technology applications, expand the application of smart cities, promote the development of the green energy industry, and assist companies in the Science City with technology application and investment implementation.

This year, Shalun Smart Green Energy Science City Pavilion will debut at 2024 Energy Taiwan & Net-Zero Taiwan, featuring energy-related technologies and solutions in partnership with five companies. We welcome you to register and visit as we work together to build a green energy future.

Earthgen Tech smart solar panel cleaning drone

Earthgen Technology, founded in 2017, originated from the Department of Aeronautics at NCKU. The company applies drone technology to replace human labor in pesticide spraying, combining agricultural data and AI analysis to create a cross-field integration of 'aerospace' and 'agriculture.

Earthgen Tech smart solar panel cleaning drone is designed to increase long term solar panel revenue, as well as manpower requirements reduction, cleaning costs reduction, water usage and carbon emission reduction. Features:

1. Reducing manpower requirements: A 1MW solar panel site can be cleaned within 8 hours, compared to the traditional workload of at least 4 workers per day.

2. Reducing cleaning costs: A 1MW solar panel site can save over 60% labor costs and 80% water expense.

3. Reducing water usage and carbon emission: Compared with traditional manual cleaning, water saving per KW can reach 80% and carbon emissions are reduced by more than 75%.

Carbon EnVision (Cloud-based GHG Inventory System)

Established in 1997, SYSTEX Corporation is a leading Taiwan-based IT service provider with approximately 4,200 employees, ranked among the top 100 in Taiwan service industries. Professional counseling services for GHG quantification and reporting to identify GHG emission sources on site. Their Carbon EnVision as a cloud -based carbon management system, can help the organization calculate the carbon emission from category 1 to category 6 by following the regulations of EPA and the standard of ISO-14064-1.  Finally, the system can generate the GHG inventory automatically.
