CITPO Technologies was founded in 2013 by Dr. HO YAN-DE in Hsinchu, and is a leading manufacturer of fiber grating sensors (FBG sensor) technology. During his master's degree in civil engineering at National Chiao Tung University, Dr. HO was a professor of FBG sensor, one of the pioneers of FBG sensor. He was a professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Huang An-bin, and then followed Professor Huang to study for Ph.D. and postdoctoral research. During this period, he helped establish the FBG fiber grating sense.

• FBG pressure sensor
  This sensor uses FBG to measure the variation of pressure. Taking advantage of a linear relationship between pressure and FBG wavelength shift. The sensor is equipped with an additional FBG temperature sensor, that can be used to compensate the temperature effects on pressure measurement while sensing the temperature. The FBG pressure sensor can be used to monitor air as well as liquid pressure variations.
