O-ring is mainly used in fluid static application, such as water, oil, air, chemical solvent, chemicals, etc. Its range of temperature is from -60°C up to 220°C.
The pressure in the static application should be less than 20MPa, which varies with different materials. Sometimes the O-ring is used in dynamic application with the pressure less than 5MPa and is also used in semi-conductor vacuum seal.
Rubber washer/Square ring is mainly used for shock absorption application or seal the gap in the static fluid, such as water, oil, air, chemical solvent, chemicals, etc.
A repair kit contains o-ring/ x-ring/ rubber washer of 18 to 32 kinds of sizes of materials of NBR 70 shore A, VMQ 70 Shore A, and FKM 75 shore A. The repair kit is a necessary tool for mechanical repairing.
