About the Company

Sinotech Engineering Consultants Inc was established in 1970 as part of a government effort to modernize Taiwan. In 1994, Sinotech Inc was restructured as a non-profit organization that focuses on research and development, while Sinotech Engineering Consultants Ltd was founded to continue the consulting business. Till today, Sinotech Ltd is one of the famous engineering consultant company in Taiwan, building a team of talented engineers capable of undertaking large-scale infrastructure projects and gradually expanded operations overseas with resounding success. For more than twenty years, Sinotech Ltd worked primarily on hydroelectric and water resources projects before expanding into highways, airports, railways and ports. More recent undertakings include mass rapid transit, science and industrial parks, high-speed rail, high-tech production plants, incinerators, and nuclear decommissioning. Sinotech Ltd also exports its services to the Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, the Dominican Republic, Saudi Arabia, and other locations across the globe. It has totally completed more than 2,400 projects in Taiwan and more than 100 oversea projects. Brief Introduction of the Products

  • SEC-HY21 is a software self-developed by Sinotech engineering group and is suitable for the modeling simulation of two dimensional hydraulic routing, mobile-bed sediment transport, debris flow and contaminant transport. This simulation model also combines the modules of grid analysis, bed elevation, calculation engine and the visualization of graphic flow fields. Its hydraulic routing model is able to simulate complex, two dimensional flow conditions that can be categorized into subcritical flow, supercritical flow, transcritical flow, wet-dry interface, regional flow fields around hydraulic constructions and turbulence…, etc. SEC-HY21 is widely used in the simulation modeling of hydraulic and coastal issues in Taiwan and across the globe. Moreover, the sediment transport modeling of river channel in a montane region that can help us to disentangle the effectiveness of sediment management in a reservoir watershed after its corresponding conservation practice.
