Founded in 1973, ITRI is a world-leading technology research institute. Its "Water Technology Research Division", under Material and Chemical Research Laboratories, has devoted many decades to cultivating and building strength in the field of water and wastewater treatment.

It serves the wide range of industries, including the electronics industry, flat panel industry, solar cell industry and LED industry. In addition to those high-tech companies, it is also working with partners in the industries of petrochemical, steel making, chemical, textile/fiber, food related, pulp and paper, etc.

Upon request it can provide the total solutions including feasibility study, treatability study, system design, installation of facilities, as well as the consultation for the management of water treatment system.

Brief Introduction of the Products:
1. Smart control of water treatment

Intelligent control is much more advanced than automation and able to respond to the variation of the environment. ITRI's AIoT water treatment integrates AIoT, automation and water treatment domain knowledge to develop a series of intelligent solution packages for different water treatment units, such as inlet pump, aeration, biological treatment, coagulation/sedimentation, and membrane filtration.

The AIoT system is also coupled with a visual remote-control platform that provides real-time information and remote control of water treatment.

2. Intelligent water management and decision platform

This platform provides rental services to small and medium enterprises who want to implement intelligent wastewater treatment. The services include visual operation interface, platform management, intelligent control design, and the consultancy of wastewater operation.

3. BioNET

BioNET® reactor contains porous compressible carriers, which offers a large surface area for the interception of suspended solids and growth of microorganisms. BioNET ® is great for the removals of ammonium and dissolved organics from wastewater and deteriorated water source.

The bioreactor provides stable and excellent effluent quality for wide ranges of influent quality, hydraulic retention time and field conditions.
